The National Center for Security and Crisis Management in Jordan has begun testing the emergency messaging system on mobile phones across all governorates, with the aim of assessing the system's readiness for alerting the public about crises and disasters. The trials will continue until August 2nd. Messages will be sent in both Arabic and English, accompanied by an audible alert to ensure citizens pay attention. The testing primarily focuses on warnings about dust storms, without causing concern or panic among residents.
