The National Center for Security and Crisis Management in Jordan has conducted trials of a emergency alert message system on mobile phones, aiming to assess the system's readiness to notify citizens about crises and disasters. The exercises will continue until August 2nd and involve sending messages in both Arabic and English, accompanied by audio alerts, without causing alarm among residents. These messages are linked to dust storms. The goal of these trials is to enhance the government's ability to communicate quickly and alert the population in emergency situations.
