Israeli Violations and UN Forces at the Yellow Line
The Israeli occupation's violations of the ceasefire in Gaza have continued, as occupation forces carried out ground incursions and shootings in various areas. This was simultaneous with reports of arrangements to deploy an international force into the sector as part of a plan to control the "Yellow Line." According to Palestinian and Israeli sources, the forces will operate in coordination with the Israeli army in areas behind the line, with Israel keen to maintain control over the region and rejecting any withdrawal unless Hamas is dismantled and the sector is disarmed. Additionally, there have been injuries among Palestinian fighters resulting from drone missile strikes, amid worsening health conditions in the sector, which saw over 57,000 surgical procedures performed in the first half of 2026.
