Jordan Licensing shifts to automated test
The Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department in Jordan has announced its move to replace the practical test with a smart electronic exam. This aims to enhance the automated assessment of applicants' performance, improve the quality of training, and increase the success rate, which has risen from 25% to 35% over the past six months. Training processes will be monitored through technology. The practical test consists of eight activities, each evaluated based on four criteria, with an emphasis that the testing procedures will not be more stringent. This development seeks to reduce the need for repeat testing and reflects efforts to modernize the vehicle driving system in the country.
