Netanyahu's cargo for Trump meeting

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading to Washington for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss sensitive regional issues, most notably the war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military presence in Syria and Lebanon, and the repercussions of the confrontation with Iran. They will discuss efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and a plan to deploy an international stability force in the sector, involving approximately 200 personnel from friendly countries. Netanyahu rejected any Iranian demands for an Israeli withdrawal from the affected areas. The discussions will also address the future of the Israeli military presence in Syria and Lebanon, with Netanyahu maintaining his firm stance against any withdrawals. Additionally, the meeting will cover issues related to Iran's nuclear program and coordination of positions between Washington and Tel Aviv, with expectations that this encounter will help shape the future of developments in the region.
