Jordan Council of Ministers on Private Schools
The Jordanian Council of Ministers has approved the Education Institution Classification System (Private Schools) for 2026, with the aim of establishing standards for school classification based on performance level and quality of services provided. The system includes six classification categories that rely on evaluating criteria such as the quality of education, the school environment, human resources, innovation and leadership, administration and management, and community partnership. The goal of the system is to enhance transparency and provide clear information for students and parents to select schools, as well as to encourage institutions to improve their performance regularly every three years through classifications based on an objective and comprehensive assessment. This is to ensure quality and achieve high educational outcomes.
