Iraq Vows to Prevent Attacks
The Iraqi Prime Minister's Media Office has confirmed that Iraq will not allow its territory to be used for launching attacks on neighboring countries. This statement comes after drone strikes targeted Saudi Arabia. Security authorities are investigating whether the attacks originated from Iraqi territory, following Saudi authorities' interception and destruction of several drones that attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province and Riyadh, which the official spokesperson described as an terrorist attempt by Iran-backed militias. Jordan also condemned these attacks, deeming them a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a threat to its security, while emphasizing the importance of respecting international law.
