Israel frees 60 Gaza prisoners as health tops concern
The Israeli occupation forces released 60 Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip, amid their deteriorating health conditions resulting from torture and injuries sustained during their detention. The Ministry of Prisoners received the prisoners at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, where they underwent medical examinations and received the necessary care. They are suffering from severe health issues. These releases are part of regular exchange arrangements, but many prisoners are still bearing the effects of torture and mistreatment. Data indicates that over 9,600 Palestinian prisoners are held in occupation prisons, including hundreds of children and women, and they continue to face violations of their health and physical well-being.
