Parliament Seeks Actions to Stop West Bank Violence
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, affirmed that the increasing escalation by settlers in the West Bank, including incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the expansion of settlements, constitutes a serious violation of international law and reflects a systematic policy aimed at restricting the Palestinians and establishing new facts through the use of force. He called on the international community, including the Security Council, the United Nations, and the International Criminal Court, to take urgent action to hold Israel accountable and to halt this organized terrorism, which threatens peace and stability in the region. International entities were urged to assume their legal and moral responsibilities to end the policies of occupation, which hinder efforts to achieve peace and lead to tension and instability in the area.
