Israeli Defense Minister to Widen Operations in West Bank
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced an expansion of military operations in the West Bank, instructing the forces to prepare for the occupation of camps similar to what happened in Tulkarem, Nour Shams, and Jenin. This comes as part of an ongoing escalation that includes incursions, raids, and threats to demolish Palestinian homes. Reports also indicate that Israeli authorities have demolished 740 Palestinian structures in the first half of the current year, and issued 254 demolition notices, amidst rising violence and clashes in the region.
