The Deputy Prime Minister and Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, contacted Mexico's Foreign Secretary, Roberto Velasco. They agreed to activate regular political consultations between the two countries in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2015. The two ministers discussed the development of bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation across various fields, as well as regional developments, particularly in Palestinian territories and the Israeli escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem. The first round of this cooperation is planned to take place at the end of 2023, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in September, with the aim of increasing coordination and collaboration between Jordan and Mexico.
