Parliament Calls for Fuel Price Cut
Members of the Tourism and Antiquities Committee in Jordan have urged the government to reconsider the prices of petroleum derivatives for the upcoming month, aiming to ease the economic burdens on citizens, especially amid rising living costs and the impact of fuel prices on transportation and overall prices. They emphasized that reducing fuel prices would help revitalize the economy and improve purchasing power, calling for the utilization of the decline in global prices to achieve a balance between public finances and citizens' needs. The Petroleum Derivatives Pricing Committee reviews prices monthly in response to developments in global markets and government policies.
