Irbid Opens 10 New Transit Points
Irbid Governorate has announced the establishment of 10 new public transportation pickup points to the city of Al-Hassan Industrial Zone, aiming to improve workers' access and expand the transportation network to support the economic and industrial activity in the region. The new points include locations such as Um Qais, Hareema Triangle, Tiba, Irbid, Al-Mughir, and Al-Koura. This expansion follows a previous plan that added 11 points, bringing the total to 21, to enhance the mobility of employees from various areas within the governorate. This move aligns with government directives to improve public transportation services, provide regular and safe means of transport for employees, reduce commuting burdens, and support the industrial sector. The goal is to facilitate job opportunities and reduce unemployment in the region.
