Three detained over crimes in Syrian military hospitals
The Syrian security forces have managed to arrest three high-ranking officials involved in violations within military hospitals during Bashar Assad's rule. Among them are a former doctor who was the director of Homs Military Hospital, a member of the military police, and they are all accused of practicing torture and enforced disappearances, particularly from Sednaya Prison. The investigation is based on evidence and videos that confirm their involvement in torture, detention, and enforced disappearance. Currently, investigations are ongoing in preparation for referring the cases to judicial authorities. These measures are part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to hold accountable those responsible for past violations.
