Iran reports attacks near Qeshm and Abadan
Iranian media reported attacks near Qeshm Island and the city of Abadan, as well as the sound of explosions in Bushehr. The United States responded with strong airstrikes against Iran, in retaliation for previous Iranian attempts to target American forces in the Middle East. An American official indicated that strikes had been carried out on Iranian territory. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the response would be "very strong," while the possibility of reaching an agreement with Tehran in the future remains. However, if a diplomatic solution is not achieved, the level of escalation will increase.
