Lebanese judiciary investigates official over Netanyahu dinner photo
Lebanese judiciary has opened an investigation against banker Anton Sahnaoui after circulating a photo of him with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a dinner in Washington. In the photo, he is seen sitting in front of Netanyahu alongside other individuals. It is believed that Sahnaoui organized this dinner to honor the late Senator Lindsey Graham. He faces charges of dealing with Israel and violating the Israeli Boycott Law, according to a search and investigation order issued by Lebanese authorities for 30 days. These developments come amid escalating tensions between Lebanon and Israel, as Lebanon is one of the countries that do not have diplomatic relations with Israel and imposes sanctions on those who communicate with the Israeli state.
