Al-Ayadi Cooperative: Surplus Tomato Use
The Agricultural Cooperative "Ayyadi Al-Badia" in Al-Mafraq Governorate successfully utilized the surplus tomato production through a tomato drying project in partnership with local farmers. They produced various products such as dried tomatoes, tomato powder, sauces, and spices, which help support the local market and provide employment opportunities for twenty women from the community. This initiative also promotes the sustainable cultivation of tomatoes and addresses the issue of surplus disposal for farmers.
