U.S. Army adjusts plans for 24 ships over Iran sanctions
The US Navy has rerouted 24 commercial ships and halted two others, in addition to storming two more vessels to ensure compliance with the blockade imposed on Iran in the Gulf region. Maritime patrol flights using P-8 Poseidon aircraft conducted surveillance patrols in the area, supported by a refueling aircraft to enhance monitoring of the territorial waters. These measures are part of the United States' efforts to tighten the blockade on Iran and prevent any attempts to breach the imposed restrictions.
