Land transport finishes new line trial tomorrow
The Land Transport Regulatory Authority in Jordan has completed the pilot operation of the second phase of the regular public transportation development project between governorates, by launching two new routes: Jerash–Irbid and Irbid–Zarqa. This includes operating 15 large buses on the Jerash–Irbid route at a fare of 1.25 Jordanian dinars, and 42 medium-sized buses on the Irbid–Zarqa route at a fare of 1.50 Jordanian dinars, in accordance with the latest technical and operational specifications. All buses are equipped with safety and comfort standards, as well as electronic tracking and payment systems, to ensure punctuality and high service quality.
