Prime Minister Jafar Hassan announced that the government will allocate 10 million dinars to support the University Student Fund. These funds will be collected from the proceeds of selling special vehicle license plates, with the goal of increasing the number of beneficiaries by 10,000 students at the start of the academic year. The total allocations for the fund have reached 40 million dinars, and it is expected that the number of beneficiaries will rise to approximately 63,000 students. The announcement also emphasized a focus on developing education and improving school infrastructure, noting that the government has constructed 86 new schools in less than a year. Additionally, projects to expand schools and kindergartens have been launched, along with the commencement of a school transportation project in the southern and desert provinces, which will serve about 9,000 students and teachers.
