The article highlights the General Secondary Certification Exam system, known as "Tawjihi," in Jordan. Jordan's Minister of Education, Emzni Muhafadah, emphasized that the system is subject to ongoing evaluations to ensure its alignment with modern educational requirements. The new system was fully implemented after consolidating study fields into four main tracks that meet students' needs and labor market demands. The materials are spread over two academic years: 30% of the score for 11th grade across four subjects, and 70% for 12th grade in specialized subjects to determine university pathways. The minister also stressed that the ministry is focused on human resource development through extensive teacher training—about 12,000 teachers last year and 16,000 so far this year—with the aim of preparing a qualified generation that meets national development needs and the evolving labor market. Continuous development efforts are ongoing to ensure the quality of education and student outcomes.
