The essential service system in Gaza is facing a severe crisis due to the Israeli war, with hospitals and infrastructure suffering significant deterioration. The health sector is experiencing a shortage of oxygen, with only 12 out of 34 oxygen stations operational, and 4 out of 30 medical devices functioning, endangering patients' lives. There is also a 47% deficit in medicines, along with a serious shortage of equipment and laboratory services. Additionally, about 75% of the water network has been destroyed, forcing residents to rely heavily on water delivery by trucks. The accumulation of waste and rubble poses increasing health risks by fostering the spread of pests and diseases. The waste management and sanitation systems are also hindered due to shortages of fuel and spare parts, threatening the environmental and health safety of the population.
