The article focuses on Jared Kushner's efforts, the envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the implementation of the American peace plan in Gaza, which Israel has so far rejected. Kushner met with leaders of Hamas in Egypt before heading to Israel, where he called for the disarmament of the movement and the implementation of achievable measures to ensure that Gaza does not become a source of terrorism. Israel, on the other hand, insists on the genuine disarmament of Hamas. The plan has entered a new phase, involving the transfer of Gaza management responsibilities to a Palestinian authority, amid continued international and regional pressures to implement ceasefire agreements.
