Minister supports Yubsiroun launch
The Ministry of Social Development, in partnership with the "Optox Al-Shami" Center, has launched the "Eyesight" initiative aimed at improving eye health for beneficiaries of shelter homes, especially orphans and those lacking family support, by conducting vision assessments and providing corrective glasses. The first phase involves eye examinations for 1,000 individuals, with the goal of enhancing quality of life and enabling beneficiaries to have clear vision to support learning and independence. This initiative is an important step in strengthening community responsibility and making a direct impact on the lives of those served. Plans are in place to expand the program in later stages to include the elderly and people with disabilities.
