British journalist: Ben-Gvir not a temporary extremist

The article pertains to statements made by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who called for the killing of dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip every night and described those he considers Palestinians as unworthy of life. This highlights the danger of the inciting and violent rhetoric he adopts and confirms that these remarks come within the context of political support from the Israeli government. They are also linked to escalating tensions in the region and the intensification of military operations against Palestinians. The author explains that Ben Gvir oversees the police and the prison service and participates in making important security decisions, which increases the significance of his statements and makes them part of the government's official policies. This is especially relevant given the growing support from the Israeli far right and its directives to continue military operations and settlement expansion, reflecting a dangerous escalation in Israel's stance toward the Palestinians.
