In my hospitals, Al-Bashir and Al-Amir Hamza, a series of new clinics have been launched to receive and assess patients recently referred from health centers and hospitals. The goal is to reduce waiting times, which can reach up to 8 months, and to expedite their access to specialized doctors. The clinics include specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and gynecology. Patients are evaluated on the same day or within a short period, with appropriate medical procedures determined or referrals made to the most suitable specialist. The initiative targets patients with new cases requiring specialized assessment and aims to organize the treatment process and reduce congestion, especially in high-pressure areas like Amman and Zarqa. This step seeks to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, in line with government directives to develop the medical service system and minimize waiting times.
