Jordan faces rising temps near 40°C
Over the past few days, the Kingdom of Jordan has experienced weather fluctuations, with heavy rains and thunderous winds leading to the formation of floods, especially in the northern Jordan Valley, Irbid, and Ajloun regions. Starting Thursday, a hot air mass coming from the Arabian Peninsula is expected to cause a significant rise in temperatures, with daytime highs in cities surpassing the mid-30s Celsius, including Amman, and exceeding 40°C in areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. The weather will be very hot and summer-like, particularly on Friday when conditions will be more intense, exceeding normal temperatures by about 6 degrees Celsius.
