The Senate in Jordan, headed by Faisal Fayez, approved the draft law to abolish the Civil Consumables Corporation, while ensuring the rights and protections of its employees. They also approved an amendment to the Professional Work Regulatory Law, which allows individuals with internationally recognized experience to obtain a professional license without an exam, and reduced fines for practicing the profession without a license from 200-500 dinars to 50-200 dinars. The law was also returned to the House of Representatives for review, aiming to regulate the labor market and safeguard workers’ rights.
