The Jordan Game Lab, an initiative of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, organized the local edition of the "Zentqa Games Challenge 2026" with the participation of 80 young men and women from various governorates. The event lasted three days in Amman, Zarqa, Aqaba, and Irbid, during which participants designed and developed 24 electronic games centered around the theme of "Dreams," utilizing skills in programming, design, drawing, and sound. The projects were uploaded to the "itch.io" platform to compete across the Arab world. This initiative aims to support Jordan's game industry sector, enhance young people's technical and creative abilities, and expand the laboratory to include technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, in line with the economic modernization vision and to empower youth for the future job market.
