Iraq Fuel Warehouse Explosion Injures 20
The health authorities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq reported that a major explosion at a fuel depot in Sulaymaniyah resulted in 20 people being injured, with no fatalities recorded. The causes of the incident remain unclear. Sources indicate a possible fuel leak from one of the tanks, which led to a fire spreading to 34 gasoline tanks and 4 gas cylinders. Efforts by rescue teams are ongoing to extinguish the flames and control the fire, while authorities have advised civilians to stay away from the site due to the ongoing burning and the expansion of the fire within the depot.
