The Anti-Narcotics Department was able to carry out multiple security campaigns across various regions of the Kingdom, resulting in the arrest of 28 wanted individuals, drug dealers, and traffickers, as well as the seizure of large quantities of narcotics and firearms. The operations included raids in Ma'an, Irbid, Balqa, the capital, Zarqa, and the Central Badia, where suspects were apprehended possessing drugs such as hashish and Captagon pills, in addition to automatic firearms and a quantity of crystal meth. One of the most prominent cases involved the arrest of a dangerous, armed wanted person in Ma'an, who was found with 43,000 drug pills and holds warrants and charges related to drugs, attempted murder, and kidnapping. The operations also targeted wanted traffickers and aimed to thwart extensive drug distribution efforts, with the overall goal of dismantling drug networks and enhancing security and stability.
