The Drug Control Department succeeded in arresting 28 individuals involved in drug trafficking and distribution across various regions of the kingdom, during the handling of 10 cases and security campaigns. The raid operations resulted in the seizure of 43,000 drug pills, 11 firearms—including automatic weapons—and large quantities of drugs such as hashish and crystal meth. Among those arrested are serious offenders. Raids also targeted farms and hideouts used by drug dealers and traffickers, leading to the confiscation of significant amounts of drugs and weapons in the governorates of Ma'an, Irbid, Al-Balqa, Zarka, and the capital. These efforts reflect intensive security measures aimed at curbing drug trade, coordinated across campaigns in all areas.
