Algeria wildfires kill 12 near homes
At least 12 people have lost their lives, and dozens have been injured in wildfires that broke out in northeastern Algeria, spreading to residential areas, according to Algerian authorities. Civil protection teams managed to extinguish 90 fires out of 159 active fires across 16 provinces, while efforts continue to control another 69 fires.
