Iranian Guard promises strong response to Larak attack
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the attack on Hormuz Island, carried out by the enemy using a drone, resulted in the death and injury of a number of Iranian fighters and civilians. They stated that the response to this aggression would be severe and that the aggressor would be punished. The Guard described the attack as a strategic mistake and a consequence of the enemy's retreat within the region, emphasizing that it would lead to a shift in the balance of power and hefty costs for the attacking side. They also viewed the attack as an attempt to avenge the enemy's internal weakness and to justify their actions before public opinion, while Iran is determined to close the Strait of Hormuz to foreign ships in response to the escalation.
