Egypt Adds Extra Exam for Jordanian Tawjihi Students
The Cultural Attaché Office at the Jordanian Embassy in Cairo announced the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt, which requires Jordanian students holding the new system's high school certificate to undertake a supplementary exam during their first year at university, according to their specialization. It clarified that the application procedures for students wishing to study at Egyptian universities for the 2026/2027 academic year are via the "Study in Egypt" platform, without the need for an intermediary, and that there are no scholarship opportunities outside the framework of cultural exchange, which falls under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
