Jordan and Russia agreed to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation through practical steps, with the aim of increasing trade exchange and expanding collaboration across various sectors such as industry, agriculture, and energy. This agreement was reached during the seventh session of the Joint Governmental Committee held in Moscow from September 8 to 11, 2026, attended by officials from both countries. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Amman in 2027. The discussions also focused on enhancing investments, developing sectoral cooperation, and signing memoranda of understanding concerning customs exchange and health collaboration, all aimed at translating the committee's outcomes into tangible projects that support the trade and economic relations between Jordan and Russia.
