Jordan and Russia agreed to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as to increase the volume of their trade exchange. During the seventh session of the Joint Committee held in Moscow from September 8 to 11, the two sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in the pharmaceutical, transportation, and energy sectors, with a focus on reconstruction efforts in Syria and Iraq as promising areas. Additionally, they agreed to organize regular meetings, suspend the implementation of cooperation outcomes through the relevant authorities, and sign minutes and agreements related to trade and customs cooperation. The two sides stated that their relations are fundamental for developing cooperation across various fields and achieving mutual benefits, with a view toward the eighth session to be held in Amman in 2027.
