Palestine welcomed the statements made at the Eighteenth BRICS Summit, which expressed support for the rights of the Palestinian people. This includes rejecting attempts at forced displacement from Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, and calls for ending the Israeli occupation and strengthening the two-state solution. The statement also emphasized the need to protect and access the holy sites in Jerusalem, support Palestine's full membership in the United Nations, and stressed that these positions must be practically implemented. Palestine called on the international community to bear its responsibilities, enforce international legitimacy resolutions to halt Israeli violations, and enable the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate national rights, especially their right to self-determination.
