Israeli drones target civilians in Gaza
A report from the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights states that the Israeli military has been using armed drone aircraft known as "Quadcopters" to carry out targeted killing operations against civilians in the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire in October 2025, up to September 2026. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 60 civilians through direct targeting of individuals not participating in hostilities, constituting a violation of humanitarian law, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The guided drones rely on advanced technologies that enable precise tracking of identity and movement, making it difficult to justify these attacks as mistakes, and confirming a systematic pattern aimed at targeting children and civilians. The report calls on the international community to take urgent action to investigate, halt the export of these weapons, hold those responsible accountable, and impose sanctions on the supplying companies to ensure such crimes are not repeated.
