The former star of the Egyptian Al-Ahly club, Mohamed Abou Trika, sent a reassuring message to the club’s fans regarding the team's current performance in this season. He downplayed the importance of the criticisms directed at the coaching staff, led by Moroccan Hassan Allouh, following the 1-1 draw with Arab Contractors in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League. Abou Trika confirmed that the presence of Allouh and Wael Gomaa on the bench provides reassurance, and that the relationship between the coach and players is normal, pointing out that such matters are common in all teams. Despite the draw, Al-Ahly dismissed any plans to fire Allouh, as the team is currently second in the league standings with 10 points—just behind third-placed Zamalek, who also has 10 points but with a lesser goal difference, and behind the league leader Pyramids, who has 12 points.
