Bazshikian: Agreement with Oman on Strait of Hormuz
Reports indicated that Iranian President Masoud Beshazkyan reached an understanding with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz, involving an agreement on the details of new routes for entering and exiting the strait, without fully reopening it in accordance with the understanding. He focused on closing the southern route despite American objections. Beshazkyan announced that cooperation with Oman aims to establish a specific framework, which will be discussed at a ministerial meeting in Muscat. The plan is to inform the International Maritime Organization of the results of this understanding and to tie it to ending Washington's blockade and its aggressive actions against Iran.
