Social Minister discusses cooperation with World Bank

Social Development Minister Wafa Bani Mustafa discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in social protection areas with Dalia Khalifa, Director of the Middle East Department at the World Bank. She emphasized the importance of Jordan's royal support for developing the social protection system through improving the quality of services provided, adopting a sustainable approach that links protection with social services and economic empowerment, and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. She reviewed the progress made in developing the protection system, focusing on expanding the social registry, promoting women's participation, establishing nurseries, and enabling beneficiaries to access employment and training opportunities, all while committing to building an integrated and sustainable social protection framework.
