The study reveals that security and judicial institutions in Jordan enjoy the highest levels of citizen trust, with confidence in the armed forces reaching 96% and in the courts at 68%. Meanwhile, trust in the government remains high at 49%, an increase from 39% in 2023, surpassing the average trust levels in OECD countries. The lowest institutional trust among Jordanians is in the parliament, at 27%, which is comparable to the average trust in parliaments of OECD nations. The study emphasizes that maintaining trust in institutions requires strengthening reliability, providing swift responses, promoting openness, and ensuring justice—all of which are fundamental pillars for enhancing governance and the success of reforms.
