The government has increased the number of beneficiaries for the Hajj scholarships allocated to teachers and educational staff from 60 to 120, as part of efforts to support the educational workforce and enhance the benefits provided to them. This increase is part of broader initiatives that include emergency loan programs, raising the percentage of teachers' children eligible for university scholarships from 5% to 10%, and allocating a portion of grants and loans to teachers' children, aiming to improve their circumstances and expand their access to Hajj services. Additionally, the Ministry of Education has launched an online portal for employees to submit their applications for the Hajj lottery, as part of efforts to strengthen support and training for workers in the educational sector.
