U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the diesel fuel shortage, explaining that the reason is due to the situation between Russia and Ukraine, not the events in the Middle East. He stated that targeting diesel sources and energy facilities in Ukraine worsens the problem, calling on Ukraine to halt the targeting of Russian infrastructure. He pointed out that Russia has announced its readiness to strike energy sector facilities in Ukraine in retaliation for Kyiv's attacks on Russian infrastructure. This escalation has led to a global decline in diesel supplies.
