Ferran Torres Guides PSG to First Win
The Spanish forward Ferran Torres led his team, Paris Saint-Germain, to their first victory in this season's French Ligue 1, after scoring the only goal in the match against Brest in the fifth minute. Torres's goal came following a well-organized attack and quick passes among his teammates, reflecting a strong start since his transfer from Barcelona and bringing his tally to six goals in his first five official matches with the club, including a hat-trick in the Champions League. Thanks to this win, PSG moved up to eighth place with 5 points, while Brest dropped to seventh, amid the injury of their professional player Hakimi and Brest's diminished chances in the second half, as PSG's goalkeeper made several brilliant saves to thwart their attempts at an equalizer.
