FIFA reviews 2030 World Cup final after Morocco Spain dispute
FIFA, the International Football Federation, confirmed that the location of the 2030 World Cup final will be announced at the appropriate time. This follows Moroccan Football Federation president Fouzi Lekjaa's statement that the match will be held in Morocco. Spain and Morocco are competing to host the event through a joint bid with Portugal. Although Lekjaa indicated that the Ben Slimane region in Morocco would host the final, FIFA clarified that no decision has been made yet. In response, Real Madrid coach José Mourinho supported holding the final at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, believing that its history and the momentum of certain initiatives favor hosting the final at this historic venue.
