U.S. President Donald Trump commented on a report stating that Iran had been provided with high-resolution satellite images by Chinese entities of an American military base in Jordan, prior to a rocket attack that killed three American soldiers. He said that China "is spying on us, and we are spying on them too," clarifying that China conducts the same espionage activities as the United States. He pointed out that Beijing denies these accusations and adheres to its international commitments, while China has denied providing military support to Tehran. It is noteworthy that the report mentioned that the Chinese images were linked by American officials to the attack on the Mwaffaq Salti base, but there is no direct evidence implicating the Chinese government.
