Jewish settlers storm Al-Aqsa on New Year
Settlers and rabbis stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces during the third day of the Jewish New Year, performing Jewish rituals in the courtyards as part of the escalating Jewish holidays. These invasions come alongside increasing calls from groups affiliated with the Temple Mount organizations to expand Talmudic activities inside the mosque, amid plans to impose a new reality and exert full control over it. About 480 settlers had entered Al-Aqsa on Sunday amid strict security measures, while Jerusalemite experts warned that these repeated invasions aim to develop protocols for Judaizing the mosque and enforcing temporal and spatial division within it.
