Egyptian Medical Exam Does Not Affect Tawjihi
The advisor to the Jordanian Minister of Education spoke about Egypt imposing exams on Jordanian Tawjihi students wishing to study medicine and dentistry. He explained that this practice is common worldwide and is implemented by many countries, coming to balance the high school curriculum with the subjects studied at Egyptian universities. He confirmed that this measure does not diminish the strength of the Jordanian certificate and that it has been applied to students from several Arab countries studying in Egypt, aiming to ensure academic compatibility. He also mentioned an increase in medical seats from 640 to 840, and dentistry from 320 to 400. The acceptance results will be announced before the end of the month.
